Owners of the Yamaha Tyros3 can download a new YPKO wallpaper I have created for use with this keyboard. This will give you a new background image using the sites colours and logo.

I plan to make wallpapers for other keyboards and digital pianos as well (that support this feature), but for now here is just the Tyros3 version. Instructions are below of how to add this image to your instrument.

• Download the file further down this news post and extract the ‘*.bmp’ image to a USB stick
• Plug the USB stick into your Yamaha Tyros3 keyboard
• Select [FUNCTION] button located right of your LCD display near the top of the keyboard
• Select ‘UTILITY’ from the options (button (I) on the LCD screen)
• Tab over to ‘Owner’
• Select ‘MAIN PICTURE’ option (button [J] on the LCD screen)
• Tab over to your USB stick
• Select ‘COPY’ (lower button 3)
• Select the YPKO Wallpaper (which will show as ‘YPKOTyros3W~’)
• Select ‘OK’ (lower button 7)
• Tab over to your Hard Drive [HD1]
• Select ‘Paste’ (lower button 4)
• Select the wallpaper from the list by pressing the LCD screen button next to it (after selecting it, it should say ‘Loading’ and then the text will go white with a black background indicating it is selected)
• Press [Direct Access] and then [Exit] to return to the ‘Main’ Screen (the default screen that shows first when you turn on your keyboard)
