Confirmation of Yamaha Tyros3 Sync/Start Midi Song Recording Function Future Improvement

On the independent Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner forum, some individuals were having recording issues with the MIDI Song Recorder on the Yamaha Tyros3 keyboard. Although technically the instrument was running to specification, the feature reacted differently to many previous and indeed present models from the Yamaha range, therefore causing a little confusion and distress.
I am pleased to share with the community today that a source from Yamaha has kindly confirmed the issue has been rectified and will be released in a future firmware update (date to be announced). It is also important to note that no features will be lost by this update!
Once I have more information, I of course will post it on YPKO.

Thanks Yamaha – can’t wait!! I know some people were not really bothered about this but it has caused me a lot of problems and has been extremely frustrating. I am so relieved things will be back to normal.
It’s not a feature that I would ever use, but it is great to see Yamaha listening to what people wanted and then actually implementing a solution – great result for those wanting this sorted
i have to say i dont use it either but a lot of people will be happy
Great news, although it did not prevent me from using this feature, the update is welcome.
Nice one Yamaha.
