The styles include 60’sChartPop and BigBandStandard presented on the Tyros3, however there are many Premium Styles available for various Yamaha instruments, so make sure you head over to the Yamaha MusicSoft website to view their entire library, which includes audio samples.

New Yamaha Club Tutorial DVD Selection Trailer for Yamaha keyboard and Digital Piano Owners

The Yamaha Club in association with Yamaha Personal Keyboard Owner (YPKO) have released three tutorial DVD offerings so far, providing you with all the essential information you will need if you are going to get the very best from your Yamaha instrument. The tutorials are relevant to a wide range of models because most of the mid to upper range instruments produced since the turn of the century have adopted the same way of working, so the essentials remain unchanged right back to the PSR-1000 keyboard.

There are currently three DVD tutorial disks available including Getting Started: Exploring Music Finder, Understanding Files and Folders and Basic Sequencing – Recording using Song Creator

Yamaha MusicSoft Website Now Offers Currency Choice Including Great British Pounds, US dollars and Euros

The official Yamaha MusicSoft Blog has today announced that their main website that offers songs, styles, voices and more now displays currency in Great British Pounds, US dollars and Euros.

In our continuing effort to make shopping as easy and enjoyable as possible for Yamaha users around the world, all prices on Yamaha MusicSoft are now viewable in Great British pounds(£), US dollars ($) and euros (€).

To select the currency you would like to view prices in, choose your currency (GBP £, USD $ or EUR €) from the new selector menu at the top of the Yamaha MusicSoft site, between the language selection menu and the “View Cart” icon. Don’t forget that you can use the language selection menu to view the site in German, Spanish, French or Italian.

This is I am sure you will agree a very welcome new feature…

Yamaha Release Tyros3 Firmware Update v1.12 – Corrects Issue with Hard Disk

Yamaha have today released an update (known as firmware) that corrects an issue with the hard disk on their flagship keyboard Tyros3:

When the Hard Disk Recorder is in use, HARD DISK SLEEP TIME is automatically set to “NEVER”. This resolves the problem in which noise may occur when the recorder is used to record or to play with HARD DISK SLEEP TIME in any setting other than “NEVER”.
