Yamaha have released three new videos demonstrating a few of the Premium Styles on their official Yamaha Tyros3 Website. The styles include EasyCountrySwing, CoolBallad and Classic R&B presented on the Tyros3, however there are many Premium Styles available for various Yamaha instruments, so make sure you head over to the Yamaha MusicSoft website to view their entire library, which includes audio samples.

On the 19th January, I was invited to enjoy James Sargeant demonstrating two of Yamaha’s latest music instrument offerings courtesy of Roger Hagarty at Roger’s Music. These included the Yamaha Clavinova CVP-509 digital piano and the PSR-S910 keyboard, which was held at Notts County Football Club. While I was there, I was able to provide live comments and capture photos which I added to an online website called Twitter. I have been using Twitter for quite some time as it provides a very convenient way of providing snippets of information covering your interests.

For those who wish to expand their musical prowess and have yet to delve into the wonders of the new Premium Packs and Voices, there is good news!

Announced on Yamaha’s Online Services Blog, during this weekend until Tuesday, Yamaha have reduced the price of the Premium Packs and Voices by 20%, which means you can enjoy additional sounds exclusively for your Tyros3 keyboard including choirs, organs, pan flutes and a trombone at a reduced price for this limited time.

Owners of the Yamaha Tyros3 can download a new YPKO wallpaper I have created for use with this keyboard. This will give you a new background image using the sites colours and logo.

I plan to make wallpapers for other keyboards and digital pianos as well (that support this feature), but for now here is just the Tyros3 version. Instructions are below of how to add this image to your instrument.
